Q. What if my car is leased or financed?
A. IQ Auto Buyers will contact your lender or leasing company to obtain the lowest possible pay off for your vehicle. IQ Auto Buyers will payoff your lender or lessor directly and any equity will immediately be paid to you.
Q. Can I get a higher price if I sell my vehicle myself?
A. Generally, private buyers are looking for a steal of a deal. Most buyers do not have cash and they need financing and want extended warranties. It is very frustrating to make a deal with someone and then they can’t come up with the money. This happens repeatedly on Ebay and other publications and you have to pay to place your ad all over again.
Q. Why do Kelly Blue Book and Edmonds.com show my car to be worth more?
A. These sites are set up to generate traffic and sell advertising. These companies do not purchase vehicles, so they must be considered only a guide. We have not heard of anyone being able to print out a check from them.
Q. How long will the process take to sell my car?
A. Usually less than 30 minutes. We do all of the title work and pay you on the spot.
Q. Do I need an appointment?
A. No, stop by our office anytime during normal business hours. If you need IQ Auto Buyers to come out and appraise your vehicle at your location, we will be happy to make an appointment with you.
Q. What documents to I need?
A. If your vehicle is leased or financed, please bring your lessor or lien holder information with you. Things such as payment books, account numbers, non- negotiable title, are all items we can use to obtain your payoff information.
If your vehicle is paid off and you do not have a lien on it, you will need the original blue title to complete the transaction. If you have lost the original title, we can help guide you through the steps to obtain a certified copy from the state.
